Abstract

Based on the Based on the survey from 2003-2004 in Jiaozhou bay, the value of marine ecosystem services in 2003 is estimated. Then a model to assess the loss caused by reclamation is set up which is used to estimate the loss of ecosystem services value from 2003 to 2006 in Jiaozhou Bay. The result show that the total value of marine ecosystem services in 2003 is 13.79 × 10⁸ Yuan, and the value is 35623 Yuan/ hm². The loss caused by reclamation in Jiaozhou bay is about 2.32 × 10⁸ Yuan from 2003 to 2006 and there is about 0.58 × 10⁸ Yuan increment in loss on average annually.
