Abstract :
This paper first discusses the progress and existing problems in the study of cooperative graphics editing systems (CGES), and then a new distributed multi-versioning model based on version replication is proposed for consistency maintenance of discordant conflicting operations according to the conflicting features and types of concurrent operations in CGES. Based on this model, the scheme of expressing versions is further discussed in detail, including the method of expressing versions and showing execution effect of versions. Then an algorithm of multiple versions incremental creation based on version replication is devised, and an application example is given. The discussion ends up with the future research
