Abstract :
This work evaluates the electromagnetic interaction between an E-shaped back-to-back antenna integrated into a laptop and the operator. The effects of the laptop screen opening angle on how the human body interferes with the antenna operation and the antenna illuminates the biological tissues is studied in terms of antenna input matching, far-field radiation pattern, Specific Absorption Rate (SAR) distribution and total power absorbed by the user.
