Abstract :
The photoacoustic dispersive anomalies of glass transitions were measured by utilizing the gas-microphone method in propylene glycol and glycerol, which are typical materials of the fragile liquid. The temperature dependence of the mean relaxation time was obtained. It was analyzed by the Vogel-Tammann-Fulcher law. It was found that the obtained parameter is in agreement with the values determined by the measurements of the dielectric dispersion reported previously. The distribution of the relaxation time was analyzed by the use of the Cole-Cole plot, and the parameter of the Davidson-Cole formula was determined
