Abstract :
In order to select transport supplier scientifically, the paper provide a solution approach for such problem. Firstly, a transporter selection synthetic index system is established, then, a fuzzy semantic distance mathematical model is obtained for selecting transporter. Because of both fuzzy interval data and qualitative variable included in the index system, the model can synthesize the quantify attribute and the qualitative attribute as well. The example shows the availability of the model.
