Abstract :
The authors introduce the use of the Park´s Vector approach for detecting, online, airgap eccentricity in three-phase induction motors. In particular, experimental results, obtained by using a special fault producing test rig, show how the presence of static eccentricity can be diagnosed reliably by monitoring the current Park´s Vector representation
