Abstract :
The application of emerging technologies and materials to HPS hull construction can lead to gains in hull strength and robustness, while also eliminating many of the constraints of conventional construction technique as used by the 2001-02 University of California, San Diego HPS Team. This procedure as well as past conventional procedures will be compared and the gains specifically outlined.
