Abstract :
Top level analytical models of the center frequency tunable 4th and 6th order continuous time bandpass (CT BP) ΔΣ modulators are presented. The validity of the models is confirmed by mixed-signal behavioral simulations for both the AC and transient modes of operation. We examine the readiness of these models in a frequency upconversion application for an analog front end of a software defined radio.
