Abstract :
Risk assessment is an important part of the project delivery process in the construction industry. It is often carried out individually by the various disciplines involved in a construction project. As the industry moves towards more collaborative working practices, it is vital that tools are available which enable risk assessment to be collaboratively undertaken. The paper addresses the design and implementation of a Web-based risk assessment system that enables remote project team members to assess the risks at the conceptual design stage. The prototype system is based on client/server architecture and utilises Web-based technology and fuzzy logic
