A Cooperative Creative Conceptual Design System

Lots of geographically distributed designers are usually involved to accomplish a complex design task and creativity and amenity of artifacts are more and more emphasized, so researches on cooperative creative conceptual design system are valuable both theoretically and practically. This paper firstly identifies some major requirements of cooperative creative conceptual design system. Then, creative genetic algorithm based on simple genetic algorithm is proposed to serve as creative mechanisms and methods. The design and development of prototype TripleCDS is described and some typical design images are shown, so the creative mechanisms and methods and prototype are validated
