Abstract :
Complex product development requires multiple designers to work together collaboratively. A good task planning is a key step for collaborative development process. In this paper, a task planning model for collaborative development of stamping die is proposed by combining IDEFO structural analysis modeling, concurrent engineering concept, and CSCW methodology to speed up and improve product and process development. According to the traditional stamping product development process, a task decomposition tree for stamping die development is put forward. By using partitioning and tearing algorithms for DSM, a task reengineering method for stamping die development is discussed to optimize the execute sequence of the subtasks. Time based task schedule model and task assignment for collaborative development of stamping die are also proposed. The application results show that the proposed model is effective and efficient to improve the collaborative development ability of enterprise
