            Abstract : 
The microstrip bandpass filter with wide stopband range is presented. This filter is constructed by inserting the resonance circuit into the coupled capacitively-load lines. Using the resonance circuits to compensate the even- and odd-mode velocity of the coupled capacitively-load lines, the higher-ordered harmonic frequency can be reduced. The 40-dB stopband suppression level is obtained up to four times the center frequency. Three examples are designed and fabricated to evidence the filter configuration.
