Real time economic dispatch for nonconforming demand changes

In the economic dispatch problem, conforming demand change is always assumed in simulation. The demand change rate results in major influences when calculating line flow, transmission loss, and penalty factor when the database technique is applied. An alternative algorithm for the economic dispatch solution, considering nonconforming demand change, is formulated using network sensitivity factors. Simulations have been carried out with an improved computation efficiency and solution accuracy for real time application
