  • Abstract
This paper presents a new quick response digital control dc-dc converter with the bias modification and its transient characteristics. In this new research, the reference bias in the P-I-D control is controlled by the reactor current sensing method with the R-C filter. In this case, the averaged reactor current is used in the model control by the low-pass filter with op-amp. In this paper, the proposed method is compared with the model control of the output current sensing method. As the result, the proposed method can obtain transient characteristics equal to the conventional P-I-D control of optimal control coefficients without depending on the integral gain in the P-I-D control.
