Abstract :
In this paper, we present an inexpensive design technique that suppresses slot-line mode excitation in CPW right-angle bends without air-bridges. This design technique suppresses the slot-line mode by equalizing the travel time of electromagnetic waves propagating along inner slot and outer slot by trenching the outer slot of CPW bends.
