Abstract :
This paper indicates a new aspect of the FDTD analysis on the electromagnetic waves in magnetic material. It is well known that the ferrite media on the microwave region provides nonlinear phenomena such as magnetostatic waves soliton and spin-wave instabilities in terms of the magnetic dipole moment. In this paper, nonlinear phenomena including bifurcation of the wave number corresponds to the periodical properties of the pulse propagation are numerically analyzed by FDTD method. These results should be useful to estimate the unexpected behavior of the microwave ferrite devices in high power operation, and utilization of these nonlinear effect should produce novel microwave devices.
