Abstract :
This paper presents a new method of Intermittent Target Tracking (ITT) to improve the resistance of tracking radar to anti-radiation missile (ARM). The traditional method to anti-ARM will decrease or disable the performance of air defense system. Deploying a tracking radar network, ITT can reduce the interception probability while tracking the target precision. The principle is analyzed first, and the evaluation indexes are given. Then, a new adaptive sampling algorithm for ITT is proposed. Simulation shows that the radar network running on ITT can both tracks target precision and resists ARM effectively.
