Abstract

Web-based system for spatial data co-edit is a CoGIS system, and also a WebGIS application system. This paper studies the technical schema for GML-based WebGIS application system used J2EE systematic framework. A geography markup language (GML) and J2EE based WebGIS model is provided. A task-group management mechanism for CoGIS is designed. Meanwhile, a control system for spatial data co-edit is provided. This system is an asynchronous concurrent mechanism system uses edition management method to co-edit. This system has been implemented which solves the share of heterogeneous spatial data and co-edit efficaciously
