Abstract
Charge equalization is very important to reduce damage to battery cells and improve the life of battery as a whole. A new simple charge equalization technique is presented in this paper. The technique utilizes an inductor and a switch with each module to realize equalization of the whole batteries, the equalization processes control and the topology is very simple, as it can lead to an efficient and low-cost implementation.
