Abstract :
This paper presents a method that makes use of a statistical language model to automatically acquire concepts from Chinese corpus for constructing ontology. The results show that it can automatically syncopate words, construct candidate compound word, count and estimate relativity between words in compound words. Finally, we evaluate compound words by calculating mutual information and context dependency analysis
