Abstract :
Intention preservation has been one of key and core issues in real time group editing systems. As intention consistency preservation among collaborative users involves many non-deterministic factors, especially different human intention, the evolution in such aspect is slow. Dynamic method for solving intention violation is considered as an efficient way. Determining and selecting of proper context is a very important issue in the specification of consistency maintenance policies in intention preservation of operation for RT-GES. Transformation operations and multi-version are mostly adopted during preserving the intention consistency. The modes of the two approaches are process-oriented consistency maintenance, which transforms each operation captured, so they are low efficient and a little costly for a real-time site users. Based on multimedia documents including text, table, graphics, a user-oriented method is proposed in this paper, which contributes intention context approach to solving the intention consistency. A processing model is also given in order to depict the mechanism of consistency processing
