  • Abstract
    An edge detection algorithm using hyperbolic tangent (HBT) filter and logarithmic transform is presented here. The algorithm is a modified version of luminance and Contrast-Invariant edge similarity measure algorithm for edge detection by incorporating logarithmic transform. The proposed algorithm gives a good quality edge detection of images with improved SSIM value and almost equal or higher PSNR values.
