Abstract :
In this paper, we introduce the concept of pyramid fuzzy numbers, which may be conveniently used in some practical applications like triangle fuzzy numbers, investigate their properties, and obtain their operations rules of addition and scalar multiplication. And then, on the pyramid fuzzy number space, we define a metric that not only holds the suitability but also convenient for getting an arithmetic formula which only involves the operations of the parameters.
