Abstract :
Implementation of Enterprise Information Systems (EISs) is not an easy work. The accuracy of input data is one of the key problems. Based on case studies, the input data of the production management modules in EISs was analyzed. A flexible support system (FSS) was proposed to improve the accuracy of the input data. The FSS is based on the human operations with some basic computer tools. Five functions in FSS are developed based on the policy of human centered idea. On the other hand, the flexible support system also requires some changes on the design of EISs. The operations of FSSs were explained with a case study which suggested a great benefit from FSS.
