Abstract :
Potential designs of active coatings for ameliorating the reflection of radar signals from wind turbine generator blades have been investigated theoretically and confirmed experimentally using large area panels. In practice, the performance of such panels would need to be tolerant of diode failure due to lightning strikes and progress in this area will be reported elsewhere.
