Abstract :
During the Take Our Daughters and Sons to Work program, two teenagers were engaged and educated using a dolphin antenna about the Electromagnetic discipline. By giving the teenagers a hands-on project, their enthusiasm towards the subject matter increased. Selecting a dolphin figurine rather than the traditional wire for the antenna made the experiment more appealing to the teenagers. By using actual test hardware and allowing the teenagers to conduct the experiment themselves, led to a higher level of engagement into the discipline. The conclusion can be summed by the words of the teenagers, ldquoI had a blast and I learned a lotrdquo.
