Abstract :
This paper mainly studies the problem of the noise suppression for images corrupted by noise. A weighted average filter based on fuzzy membership is presented. The algorithm optimizes the weights of the filter by the fuzzy membership functions. The filter is not only better than the average filter and median filter in the field of suppression of Gaussian noise, but also in the field of the suppression of impulse and mixture noise
