Abstract
A high frequency bipolar current source resonant inverter proposed in this paper has many attractive advantages, such as high current transfer gain, high power efficiency, low total harmonic distortion (THD) value and low electromagnetic interference (EMI), etc. The analytic expressions of the resonant voltage and current are derived and two operating conditions related to different component values are discussed. The validity of the theoretical analysis has been proven with PSpice simulation and experimental results.
