            Abstract : 
An ARMA model based scheme is proposed for tracking maneuvering targets in the Cartesian coordinate system. The parameters of the proposed ARMA type filter are estimated from the target position measurements in the sense of least-squared error and the performance of the the filter is accessed through simulation studies
