Abstract :
This paper constructs the MIP model to solve the off-line surgical scheduling based on the off-line bin-packing. The goal of this model is to minimize the idle time of the operating rooms. This model consider comprehensive factors that each surgery has a due-date, surgeries of the same surgeon must be performed in the same operation room in one day, operating room is perishable and so on. Finally, it proved the validity of the model through a numerical example from a large public hospital of China.
