Abstract
With the increase of national income, the public presents increasing demands on travel. In addition to self-planning, the public could select the package tours arranged by travel agencies, in which tour buses are the major transportation. About 40 people can be carried in a tour bus. Before departure, the tour guide has to clearly control the number of people. Such an action is repeated in the journey that it would spend a lot of time. This study tends to design an RFID combined with network technology for the roll-call system in tour buses. With the connection of wireless network and database, RFID Readers are placed on the front and back doors of the tour bus. With such a system, the tour guide could save time on roll-call so that the journey could be completed as scheduled. Relatively, the promotion of service quality and customer satisfaction would enhance the trust of tourists in the travel agency that they would select the agency for the next travel or service.
