Abstract :
Common Channel Signaling (CCS) is a new method of signaling between systems. In CCS, the control signals and voice are transmitted over separate facilities, The control signal facility, or signal network, controls and supervises many speech circuits. In this paper, we use queuing theory to model the CCS7 protocol and derive an analytical model that describes its throughput efficiency
