Abstract :
The importance of supply chain agility has been widely recognized by researchers and practitioners, especially with the increasing turbulence of the global economy in recent years. This research aims at clarifying the concept of agility in supply chain research and identifying key antecedents of supply chain agility. In particular, we propose responsiveness, flexibility, and quickness as key dimensions of overall supply chain agility, and identify process integration, information integration, market sensitivity as enablers of the three dimensions of supply chain agility.
