            Abstract :
Shielding effectiveness (SE) measurements of shielding enclosures is too complicated for the design stage. Therefore, other measurement techniques have been developed, in order to estimate the influence of the material choice, the joining technique and the effect of holes and openings. An overview of available techniques, and where possible, the correlation between techniques is discussed. Three different situations are examined: measurements on flat samples and joints; measurements on boxes, influence of joints and holes; and measurements on gaskets
