  • Abstract
This study utilizes the finite element method to solve the problem of scattering from multiple cavities with arbitrary shape and inhomogeneous media. The surface integral equation using Greenpsilas function is used to truncate the mesh region, resulting in significant increase in solution efficiency. The application of this method can be extended to the problem of several grooves with various shapes and to the problem of scattering from multiple holes in infinite metallic screens.
