Abstract :
A numerical analysis approach for link-level simulations of a multi-antenna system (MIMO) is presented. The analysis is done in an urban microcell environment. We adopt a hybrid electromagnetic-based approach to simulate this environment. The link-level error rate performance simulation and the instant capacity are computed, respectively. Comparisons are made with the measurement-based spatial channel model (SCM).
