  • Abstract
    A compact internal antenna with a partially filled ferrite substrate for DVB-H (digital video broadcast for handheld) reception in a mobile phone is proposed. Ferrite substrate whose relative permittivity (epsivr ) and permeability (mur) are 7 and 18, respectively, is used to effectively reduce the antenna size. Measured results show that the proposed antenna can work well for DVB-H applications.
