Abstract
The author describe the CHP plant at the Dartford site of the Wellcome Group pharmaceutical company. The plant is a dual-fuel (gas-oil) installation using two Ruston Tornado gas turbines. The waste heat from the turbines is used to generate steam for site processes and space heating. The author describes the gas turbines, the fuel system, the electrical system and the waste heat boilers. The author then discusses the electrical operations, and performance monitoring and control
