Abstract :
The loss of quality incurred during image acquisition makes the simplification and enhancement of raster images a complex process. In this paper, we propose an approach that provides contrast and edge enhancement, followed by a polygonization process to produce a vectorized image which can be analyzed with less consuming time and decreasing the cost of searching and matching.
