Abstract :
The original T-matrix method cannot be available to determine the scattering field under the condition of a large aspect ratio scattering body of resonant mode. In this paper, a T-matrix method (called the extended T-matrix method) which is based on the elliptic cylindrical wave function is proposed for the two-dimensional scattering problems.
