The EMC Directive and the motor vehicle-a brief update
Abstract :
The author discusses the latest situation regarding the EC EMC Directive and the automotive industry. The extension to the Directive and the subsequent proposals by the Association of European Automobile Construction (ACEA) are discussed. In particular the author mentions radiated emissions, radiated immunity, conducted transient emissions and immunity, and electrostatic discharge. The legislative situation relating the Directive are also discussed.<>
