Abstract :
The Computer Vision Research Group at Dundee is investigating pattern recognition and image processing techniques applied to the automatic interpretation of medical images. One area of interest is in computer interpretation of radiographs for the detection of breast cancer. The authors briefly review some of the projects that have been carried out by the group. These projects have been focused on the long term aim of developing a computer system to automatically prescreen breast X-rays
