Abstract :
A novel antenna diversity system for satellite digital radio systems is introduced which yields high improvement of reception quality in multipath propagation scenario with very low hardware effort. The antenna diversity system can be used in combination with a standard single arm receiver. Only one RF-cable is required for connection of the receiver with the set of antennas which can be installed at one mounting position.
