Abstract :
The finite difference time domain method (FDTD) is one of the important tools to solve electromagnetic problems. Furthermore, it becomes more popular because that it can obtain efficient, accurate and, wideband results in one simulation run. To analyze the microwave integrated circuits in FDTD, several works were presented to incorporate the lump elements into a single FDTD cell. In this paper, an efficient scheme is proposed to incorporate arbitrary one port network into FDTD method. Two examples are used to demonstrate the accuracy of this approach.
