Feedforward strategy for on-line quality control

The authors describe a technique for on-line computer quality control. Research carried out at Portsmouth Polytechnic has shown that the use of computers to make process control decisions can greatly enhance quality performance. The authors describe this research and show how on-line computer quality control can be achieved.
