Abstract
A frequency extrapolation scheme is developed to effectively predict radar cross sections using the genetic algorithm based on the GTD model. The parameterized model to extrapolate the frequency response to a higher frequency band is used and some test targets are calculated to test the effectiveness of the method. The influence of extrapolation on the range profile is studied, and the extrapolated data is used to obtain higher resolution.
