Abstract :
A novel quality factor(Q) tuning scheme for active-RC filters is presented. The advantage of the proposed method is that it does not require a magnitude locked loop (MLL). The scheme is applied to an active-RC Chebyshev 5th order LPF. It achieves a cutoff frequency of 19.7 MHz with 3.8 mW power dissipation by 1.2 V supply.
