Abstract :
The designs of frequency reconfigurable printed IFAs have been demonstrated in this paper. It is shown that by loading simple SMT varactors, a small reconfigurable IFA can operate over a wide dynamic range while maintaining a reasonable antenna efficiency and maximum gain inside the instantaneous bandwidth.
