Abstract :
A mathematical model of differential cross section for volume scattering from statistically homogeneous and isotropic random continuum is proposed for calculating Bragg scatter distribution in the field of view of an antenna. The simulation results manifest that the scattering field of the random continuum has discrete properties similar to the echoes scattered by discrete scatterers so that the drift analysis appropriate for discrete scatterers can be used for turbulence.
