Abstract :
This paper proposes CMO as a novel global optimization algorithm inspired by the process of color mixing used by painters. Although only the design of a linear aperiodic array is shown as a numerical example of CMO, this algorithm can be applied to any other optimization problem. It is expected that further research on CMO will result in improved performance.
